This was our third visit and we hope it will not be our last. We have also recommended this fine hotel to friends who have been equally impressed. The hosts have a proud Maconnais tradition and they have much to be proud about.
A unusual property, originally a small farm house, now a very accommodating Hostellerie. Family run and real old fashioned French hospitality. Large gardens with an assortment of animal and birds plus an outdoor pool for summer use. Plenty of free parking. Traditional regional French internal decoration with large open log fireplaces. Bedrooms are large, sombre colours, TV etc. Restaurant serves regional dishes, limited choice, and has a good wine card. Breakfast is served in the main lounge area and is very comprehensive. Best boiled egg I have eaten in a long while! The family speak French / German / English , so no communication problems. Located near Macon and the AutoRoute…
Its been a few years since we last took the opportunity to stop with this lovely friendly family and their delightful hotel. Initial concerns that it could have changed for the worst were soon dispelled and the warm reception made us feel right at home…. Breakfast was, as usual, just fabulous with such a choice of fresh produce, cakes and breads with freshly made coffee and orange juice and all delivered to your table, it really is in a class of its own. We have recommended this place to many friends and all have spoken highly of it when they have tried it. It is little wonder and we will certainly visit again.
This is an absolutely wonderful hotel both as a stopover and a destination in itself. There is great attention to detail in the construction and décor of the building whilst the gardens are well cared for and very conducive to relaxing before having a meal in the restaurant. This is a very individual hotel well suited to those who do not require a standardised approach to their stay.
Extremely charming hosts. Hotel located in old local farmhouse, very nicely restaured but with conservation of original building and interior. Nice salon and restaurant setting. Well equiped bedrooms,spacious, in authentic style with small private terrace. Equiped as french rural bedrooms from former times. Excellent restaurant, only for guests…

There was a warm welcome by the owners to this super little hotel. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean and well equipped. We had a super meal in their restaurant and one of the best breakfasts we've had in France. The decor of the whole place was very retro which strangely seemed to work!!

The T.G.V Station is only 10 minutes away and Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport 1 hour 10 mn.
